Just got mine in and they’re close enough. Certainly closer to ODG than the clown shoe neon green stuff coming out from Cloud or Unity. Still planning to dye some MCT PMAG’s ODG too.

Those definitely are amend2 mags the half circle design gives them away. I had heard issues from co workers on the first gen mags on our range, so we just use magpuls now. We don't have a 300blk rental (yet), so we don't have an immediate need for multiple AR magazines. I'd still pick lancers over amend2. They sent us new gen ones for evaluation. They seem to do okay in regular Ole ARs. With as good and cheap as magpuls and landers are, I'm not rushing to stock my shelf with these. We also never get asked about these. That shade looks a lot like my Lancer train safe magazine (that does not allow you to load live ammo). I wonder if amend2 thought about this, or they just don't care? |
Oh sorry about that. Yep they are Amend2 ModC. The smoke are $8.99 and the Blue, Red or Orange are $9.99. Available at Botch, Prepper, etc. I'll try them out and abuse them a little this weekend, but they do seem to be built very nice.

Tinkered around with dying some clear Lancers. Used Rit DyeMore liquid Dye. First try was Frost Grey. Didn't turn out that great. Will order a few more clear Lancers and try a few different Grey's. Then used Sapphire Blue on the next 2. They turned out pretty good.
