My oldest M6A1 does not have a NIB trigger. While the trigger is okay, I am just wondering because it says LWRCI on the hammer but it is not NIB coated. I am replacing the trigger on my 12.7 LWRCI with a SD-C and was wondering if I should just upgrade. I have three other LWRCi's a M6A2 10.5, M6A3 12.7, and a M6-ICa2 16 inch and they all have NIB triggers. My friends M6A2 had the old two piece Carrier mine has the one piece and his rifle has a LWRCi NIB trigger. It is an oddity in my mind. Granted I got this rifle in 2009 in the insanity of Obama 1. |

It’s probably just early. Phos trigger groups have worked fine for years, so unless it’s preference, no need. Mad kudos for having a 12.7 m6a3. Awesome rig! Edit: Lol@responding to a 7 month old thread. The piston forum is on fire! |

Yes it’s worked fine for years. I was actually told because I bought the rifle during the time of Obama 1 some commercial m6 and m6a1s were sent out with non coated to get more rifles out because they ironically had all the parts just their coated for the trigger was back log. Ironically just bought a used m6a1 a few weeks ago. |
