Heres another chinesium optic deal while I'm posting in here: This is a RMR-footprint Defender series clone from a new company called Triton. I found them while looking for mounts and figured for $50 why not. Got the RDS in hand and its actually pretty nice especially for the price. Its pretty large like the size of a Defender ST/XL. Has motion on/off, etc. Only downside is that the battery access is underneath - but it's NOT the traditional cheap open-style - There is a metal cover plate with an o-ring that unscrews making it a sealed unit. There is no blue coating on the lense so take that FWIW. This clone also include the front serrations from the Vortex models which no other cheap ones do. Yes, totally legit. If you want to pay more, you can order from Amazon. I have ordered their 1-8x LPVO, which has arrived and I've mounted and shot. Glass is German and extremely good. Build quality is solid. Turrets are good, but not great. Scope comes with a serviceable mount. Just ordered the 3x prism. I feel like they are blowing out their current inventory before the tariffs hit, since they are made in China. With the C_DOES code they are really too good to pass up. The 1-8x is basically comparable to Primary Arms PLX 1-8 which costs $1,500. I think I picked my 1-8x up for under $350 with coupon code and free shipping. C_DOES, who's optics reviews I generally trust, loves the 1-8x, and, as I said I have one and honestly it lives up the hype. |

At under $400 with a basic mount included I really do feel they are the best deal going. Also, yes Vector has 2 websites, which can be confusing. One is a general website that gives you specs. about their various models, but no way to buy anything. The second is their U.S. sales website, which I linked to in my earlier post. Right now they are significantly discounting a lot of their models and the coupon code C_DOES gets you an additional discount. This code worked on my prior purchase of a 1-8x scope the the 3x prism scope I just bought. And shipping is free. |

I stumbled onto this thread yesterday and consequently watched the c_does review of the 1-8 and then bought one. I think I got the last hunter scope because it said out of stock after I bought it. Once again ARFCOM and you guys cost me money. Albeit a really good deal I think.

| So impressed with the 1-8x that I picked up a Vector 3x prism scope. C_DOES code also worked on this for 10% off bringing the cost down to something like $140. Haven't mounted the scope yet, but just holding it by hand the glass looks to be outstanding and illumination is daylight visible. |

They are phenomenal for this sale price - absolute steals. The glass is super clear on them. The eye relief on the 3x is very short, though. And it doesnt come with a cantilever mount which sucks. I learned I dont like prism scopes so I sent them back. |

Seems like a nice option but that short of eye relief is a no-go for me. NTCH is not my style and I don't have Trex arms.
