Does anyone here have any experience with the LEP lights from Zbolt or any other brands. Seems interestingly insanely bright. Pure hotspot. Little / No spill. Does anyone have one? How has it held up with use. |

Does anyone have one? How has it held up with use. What’s your use case? I’ve had a Weltool W4 (older version with 1.78 million candela vs the 2.88 million candela W4 Pro), for a few years. Yes, it’s bright as heck. They’re useful for very narrow use cases. TBH, I don’t find mine very useful for ranges under 200yds. The beam is too tight at ranges under that. Great for spotlighting things far away, though. Someone mentioned it was useful for illumination down their narrow shooting lanes to the feeder for wild hogs, as the lack of spill avoided blinding them from backsplash off the brush lining the shooting lanes (although it would seem a thermal or NV optic would be a better fit for that use). FWIW, I also have the Acebeam K75 1.56 million candela thrower. It’s a better search light because it DOES have a wide spill for near field illumination, coupled with great throw. It IS a heckuva lot bigger than the W4, though. As a weapon light, unless you’re planning on using the light as some kind of poor man’s non-adjustable ballpark aiming aid, an LEP wouldn’t be my choice. P.S. They can also be effective for helping lost Uber Eats drivers lol. I want to use it for longer distance spot light. I have some nicer Surefire DF flashlights and other various SF scout lights. I just wanted to consider something different. The ability to throw it onto a handheld body sounded good as well. |

| Acebeam has a new W20 LEP Flashlight that also has wide angle spill. Looks like the first really useful LEP light. You can weapon mount it with a 1" ring mount. Small package flashlight and weapon light all in one! |
