[ARCHIVED THREAD] - KM Tactical BCG.. anybody had experience?

So I came across this BCG and apparently it’s $55 for nitride coated and MPI tested.. is it too good to be true? They also have the stock I want and $5 flat shipping

There is a ton of chinese junk on that site. These days, quality BCGs can be had for good prices, and there is no way I would put some unknown POS in one of my rifles. 9310 needs to be heat treated properly.
What stock are you after?

the KM tactical store is 10 minutes from my house.. I went in there one day and I can confirm it is all chinese junk. They also wouldn't tell me who supplies them with their parts. Their bcg werent even staked properly.. it was just made to look like it was staked.. if that makes sense. All the poors around here love it though.

I took a picture of one of their bcgs when I was there.. Ill try to find it..

here...just looks like the staking just for show and not for function imo..

Spend $15 more and buy a Toolcraft with a lifetime warranty. Seriously.

My plan was spending $50 more and getting a brownells Chrome BCG anyhow. A friend of mine who builds retro ARs said the Brownell's BCG was the good stuff.

DD would be "the good stuff" in a chromed bcg, IMHO.

But you'll not get one for a hundo.

I would get the Toolcraft mentioned before I got a Brownell's BCG, chromed, or not.

If you want a good chrome BCG get a Daniel Defense or Young's, but they are not cheap.

I am a fanboy of the chrome.
