I just got back from the range after testing my KAK DBC with my Maxim PDW equipped PSA lower. I was using the standard 3.3 oz. buffer (1-3/4" long, and does have a reciprocating weight), standard Maxim recoil spring, a 10.5" Daniel Defense 5.56 barrel, and a Trigger Kicker (which replaced the standard disconnector and spring) in the PSA-built lower and trigger. It ran perfectly in Repeat Reset Trigger mode - NO malfunctions at all for 100 rounds. Because of the light weight buffer, I was actually expecting some problems, but the reciprocating weight in the KAK carrier performed flawlessly! The KAK BCG is supposed to dead blow itself - if it works, you should be able to adjust rate of fire with buffer weight. Another vote for Tromix. Tony also makes a standard carbine size H4 buffer. I got a couple of those today. A bit more expensive, but if an H3 isn't doing the trick its a good option. |

| Anyone print / make their jig to drill the pin hole for existing bcg's? I want to drill 1 or 2 bcg's to use these but I don't have a 3d printer. I can't find anything but their program to print it yourself. |

So I am rebuilding my 9mm AR and I have just got most of my parts. When I went to cut some FRT clearance on my bolt weight I drilled out the hole for the roll pin to mimic the sliding weight of the KAK. It may be a bit till all my parts are here to finish it but we will see if it works? |
