Hello all, I live in EE so if this is the wrong place to post my bad! Anyway, I’m needing a urx 3.1 removed for a barrel swap but don’t have their proprietary armorers wrench. Is there anyway to remove this thing without spending $200+ on a wrench I might not use again for another 5 years? |

Why not just send the entire assembly and new barrel to Dave and let him do the swap? IMO, the URX 3.1 needs more than a wrench. I use the YHM picatinny vise jaws to hold the upper and rail together while heating the URX barrel nut.  I took this picture to show my steps during a 3.1 install, but you get the idea. Dave could probably get it done for you in a week or 2. |
