It is with a heavy heart that I even write these words, but it has been one year since the loss of someone who had a huge impact on my life. I know he had an impact on many more of you, lets see the item or items that may have been a part of that impact.
Post up some Noveske love in honor of the man who, if he were here today, would call us all friends. This video was taken by Trey Knight, thank you Trey for the work on it. Makes us still tear up sometimes. 
Ok, now for some photos. I think it's high time I build this baby out!

I have one of the Pmags. It was a small token of my sorrow for his passing. Few years ago, shit 5 now? I had called Noveske, I don't honestly remember what for, to ask some tech question before I ordered. I ended up talking to "some guy" named John. We bsed for over 45 min. Bout the gun, middy on a 14.5 vs a 16, bout OR and WA gun stuff. Just a good open guy. At the time I did not know he was "Noveske", good man he was, earned a customer for life. |

Just wish they could keep rifles in stock...the only places I ever find them are on gunbroker and it's usually a rogue hunter which I don't want to buy. Thanks for sharing. |

My tribute to Mr Noveske
Left is a factory rifle, next two are 14.5 factory uppers, a mid length and a carbine that was for Christmas. Next two are builds with Noveske stainless barrels, 14.5 & 16, bolts, lowers, etc. Also a Johnny pmag and Noveske USGI style mag with Noveske floor plate. Only seen a few of these. RIP brother |
Yesterday I was able to finally zero in this rifle, after replacing the lower, adding a G3Gun trigger. The upper was a Noveske 18" SPR barrel on a VLTOR monolithic upper. Zeroed Acog to 100 and Doctor stayed at 50. I was able to hit 200yards, so did other shooters. Upper was bought back by me in 2007. He was starting to become known, RIP John. |
I don't interest myself in "why". I think more often in terms of "when", sometimes "where" ? Always "how much" ?

I'm saving these parts for a very special build when the SBR stamp comes back on the N4. 
I appear to have forgotten my 5.45 mutt which also incorporated a NSR9.

One year has flew by. NOVESKE. Will remain immortalized through his legacy. He had great passion in his life. He will continue to be remembered by many and known of by many to come.
His passing may have been untimely. Especially to those close to him. He went out on top. His life is celebrated. "His candle burned out long before his legend ever did." |

Sucks; I still have a 18" barrel I bought in 2008 still unfired. It has sat in my safe for eight years. Why did I not fire it? Well, I left the U.S. For four and half years for work, didn't have an optic for it, and then too busy. But my New Years Resolution is to fire it with quality 77 grain Black Hills ammo, and shoot it a lot. Then buy a nice optic for it.
RIP John! You are sorely missed in an industry you helped pioneer. |

| I just finished a build 3 years in the making, the finishing part was a CHF 16 noveske barrel, despite what people say about the company since his passing this barrel and my 18 SS still group great. I wish he was around to see the new N6 and for us to see what else he would've brought to market. |
