Along with what JohnQ said. The roller cam pin is supposed to give a bit smother function for piston set ups. I needed cam pins so I figured why not try roller. The bolt spring should also help insure the bolt fully extened in the carrier allowing the bolt lugs to enter the extention cleanly. Also helps with assembly since the bolt is fully extended and not flopping back and forth... you do need to press the back of the carrier forward to close the upper with the bolt spring in place. |

I had a SA adjustable gas block before and it ran fine on forced reset. I swapped in the gas piston kit and once tuned, it runs fine too. No real noticeable difference in how it feels. Only thing I had to do, was run restrict mode. I first tried bleed off mode but it was unreliable. Once I switched to restrict mode it became reliable again. I had my old adjustable gas block in restrict mode too and had no issues. I just wanted to try bleed off and was disappointed. |

I'm going to try kynshot's 5007 9mm buffer in one or maybe both this week weather permitting. Have the buffers, A5 RE's and FW springs delivering today. Smoother recoil impluse and slower cycle rate are my goals. Hopefully I still have enough adjustment to stay in bleed off with the increase in buffer mass. |
