I want to have a front sight base installed and I would like a couple of barrels cut down and threaded. Who is doing said work now days and what kind of turnaround time am I looking at?

Retro Arms Works or ADCO.

As far as scheduling you'd have to contact them directly.

Just FYI, John Thomas responded to my email within the hour on a Sunday! I still haven't heard back from ADCO...Im definitely sending them to JT
