Sling attachments? Trying to get rid of the 2 oz qd mounts and sling mounts.

You make a loop and tie the ends in a knot.

Like others said, just loop para cord & hangman's knot,

Or get a 60/40 para cord sling, year or so back got several of these off amazon or temu for $9 each.

Get a BFG U-loop. Paracord will melt when your gas block gets hot.

A double loop and join it with a Fishermans Bend.

Been doing that with all our rifles for years.

I saw a video yesterday and doubled the attachment points. He had 2 and I made it 4.
Not close to gas tube. I only found a little 550 cord enough for one AR and I pulled it in different directions it didn't loosen a bit. I will look for more and work on some other attachments soon. I like it better.

Not seeing how that thing works. Just seems like putting one more connection between your sling and your rifle for the sake of quick detach that is made from thin plastic could be a problem in hard use.
