Newest 6.8 build w/ Tims light weight barrel 6.8 SBR w/ Dennys 12" barrel  Heres my 18" 6.8 WOA barrel from JTAC. Built May/June 06   Its been shot too

My son is an armorer for DPMS and recently built this 6.8 SPC for our collection. Its equiped with a VLTOR VIS-3 one piece upper and has a 16” DPMS M-4 profile barrel with a Tromix Shark muzzle brake and a ACOG scope. We still need to do a few things to it like add rail covers and a BUIS. We have a Magpul M93 stock for it that we are going to install.      |

I'm almost ashamed to post these pics after looking at the great shots above but here goes anyway. I'll have to make an effort to post some better ones soon. The upper only shot's Tim made in his shop and they are REAL bad.  My first Ko-Tonics 16" Upper  The Finished Product  100 yrd 3 Shot (I know I know) Group - SSA 115 gr OTM  My Second Ko-Tonics 16" Upper - Larue Stealth and Larue 9.0 Rail This one will soon be sporting a Ko-Tonics 18" IonBond DLC tungsten-carbide coated barrel - Upper is only purple in Tim's camera  My Ko-Tonics 16" LW Upper  All Dressed Up to see what she will do  What she will do with 3 rounds, good glass and an average shooter, 100 yrds, SSA 115 OTM  Ko-Tonics 16" LW Everyday Config - My Favorite AR

1st 6.8 I built. Late 2004 When I was home from Iraq, injured. Model1 upper, originally on an OlyArms "multi" caliber lower.  It looked like this for awhile but I returned it to stock config to sell it.  Sold it on Gunbroker in late 06, it is now in Alaska  Dedicated Deerslayer I built for sale. Sold it off Gunbroker as is and it is in Michigan somewhere. CMMG 16" upper. The scope mount is supposed to be black

Just finished off my 6.8. Now to shoot it! Mega Gator Lower RR Two stage NM trigger CMMG Upper, Barrel, 1/10, 16 inch mid-length MagPul CTR on a Bravo Mil Spec tube Nikon 3x9 Buckmaster Armalite mount Probably replace the front sight with a flat gas block eventually....

Yeah, I like the POF, they have them for 308s too. That is a 18" Wilson,11 twist with the DMR chamber, .850 behind the JP adj. gas block and fluted, .730 in front fluted. The float tube is twisted 45 degrees so I can scope it and run a Holo on the rail when we have a multigun where targets are from 10yds to 400yds. Tom Brewer in Cortez likes to mix it up. I like them as light as possible when I have to run 100yds with them. |
