I currently have a couple Trex slings which are nice and low profile. Just received a BFG Vickers padded and while it is nice with a thick pad, it is on the bulky side. I’m considering ordering a Flatline Fiber Co. For those that have messed with these, would you say the flatline is in between the Trex and Vickers as far as padding and bulkiness/is there noticeably more padding on the flatline vs the minimalist Trex padding or are the about the same? Thanks |

If you want the pad and the skinny 1 inch sling, then go with a slingster. You can adjust the padding to your liking. That one sling looks like it is sewn into a fixed adjustment so you're kind of limited to the length. For myself, I like the vtac slings, both padded and unpadded. I'm currently using the unpadded one, which is nice but if I am walking around, the padded one is nicer around the neck area over a long day (6+ hours). |

I have a Grovetec padded one and it is decent, but it seems like if you have a pack on our hydration pouch on your plate carrier or chest rig that it hangs up easier. Seems shorter but I sort of figured out how to extend it. I honestly like the Magpul slings, maybe should try BFG. How do the Citizen Gear ones compare? |

The adjustment pull has too much friction for my liking and the material is too grippy. When performing reloads, and moving the butt of the rifle down and muzzle up, the sling "grips" my back and plate carrier and the rifle fetches up. The material on the Citizen Gear and Magpul slings is more slippery and slides over my back and allows freer movement of the rifle. Also, the length adjustment tab requires less effort to move. That said, if I was going to have the rifle slung for hours and hours I would appreciate the wider Bfg. But if manipulating the rifle and shooting a lot the Citizen Gear of Magpul are my go to. |

I have tried others but haven’t found anything better.
