Hello, I hope you all are well. I’m trying to replicate an 80’s-90’s Colt M16A2 and have sourced what I believe to be a correct upper. I was wondering if those more knowledgeable than me on these uppers and their components could provide some help. Essentially this is I think a Colt (Marked “C M”, lacks square c stamp near the ejection port) A2 upper with holes for mil-spec pins. It lacks M4 feed ramps and has a circle-style Forward Assist. What’s interesting to me is the sight. The tower looks to me to be (possibly) correct/original Colt, however the windage wheel is marked “Eagle Arms” and the elevation knob seems to be aftermarket/commercial as well. I have no clue about the aperture or windage screw. The apertures have some freckling which make me think they are originals but who knows. I’d like to see what everyone’s thoughts are on these sights, and what parts I should replace beside the windage knob to get it back to how it might look if it was an issued M16A2 upper.
