I just finished An AR15 Build and installed an complete Gieselle Super 42 buffer system, and found that , the gun seems to cycle fine for the most part while operating under gas pressure, but I found that when I go to charge the rifle , that the bolt does not just freely slam forward and will jam in the center of the magazine.Almost removing the round from the magazine The rifle will jam with the round half way between almost leaving the magazine and just entering the chamber. It seems that , it is the buffer spring not moving freely in the buffer tube that is causing this, ..When i seperate the upper from the lower and push on the face of the buffer, it feels like it’s dragging and grinding into the tube instead of moving free and smooth…i checked the inside of the Gieselle buffer tube and it’s smooth and there is no damage The spring and buffer look fine too..is this a product of the spring design? |

1. Do you have a mil spec buffer tube? 2. Do you have a commercial spec tube ? 3. Do you have a mil spec buffer, or do you have a commercial grade buffer? 4. Drag a ball of cotton through the tube, see if catches on a burr inside the tube. 5. Measure the outside diameter of your spring to be sure it's not a tad big / out of spec. 6. Be sure your detent pin in the rear of your receiver, the once that blocks the buffer from going into the receiver, isn't sitting too high and catching the spring. |

The Buffer Tube and Super 42 Spring and Buffer came as a Sealed kit from Gieselle The inside of the Tube feels Smooth, the Pin in the buffer is flush Also the Buffer detent , is not effecting it Even when I push in the face of the buffer with my finger, it feels rough and Crunchy |
