A in spec lower is still in spec and can still be used with any upper Never seen the handguard light w/203  USAF 723 late 90s  Id carry it, its very lightweight and handy compared to 12+lb modern configurations USAF 6 series rebuild  |

Carried a Colt M16A2 in Iraq in 2011 with aviation  Went to 20th SFG and reclassed as a 91F and had a M4A1 for those years. Then transferred to ADA and had another M16A2 with a H&R lower til like 2019 when we finally got M4A1s again
