First, glad this thread exists. I'm never going to achieve 100% clone purity, nor am I interested in doing so. So it's great to be able to post some "inspired" pictures.
The latest Marine recon configuration looked cool, so I semi-mimicked it.

Messing around with an A5 setup to get my mind off of the fact that I've just been too cheap to buy an MRE. That's going to change now. I was hoping to get rid of some stuff to pay for it, but every time I see y'all post MRE pics it rekindles that flame. Nobody to blame but my cheap ass self. Going to MRE my OGS clone. Growing tired of its current config.

Which leads me to my next question, where can I find one, and how was fitting it with a KAC E3 DI System, and how would it be using a SA Piston Retro Piston Kit ?

You won’t need a 416 barrel nut as the extension on a 416 is longer than an AR. You’ll use the PDX barrel nut with whatever 416 rail you want. The KAC Mod 2 system is easy to work on and was a breeze to install. The 416 receiver height gives some extra room for the gas block too. |

Mark 12 SPR Mod I and Mod 0. The barrels are Douglas and the rails are clone correct, but I took liberty with the receivers and optic mounts. I’m fact, the Mod 1 KAC rail came from an East coast SEAL team and was painted/worn, so I did my best to match the rest of the rifle to it. I could not be happier with these two weapons.

I don’t know if all the time indoors has my brain ticking or if it’s just boredom striking, but I took the barrel off my 10.5” pistol with Geissele MK4 Fed Rail and made this abomination. I have decided I like it enough to keep it, and I’m going to buy a 10.3/5 6.8 barrel to either use with the Geissele or put into this ARMS SIR contraption. It feels surprisingly balanced
