Mine, just a good ole G super duty upper with Surefire BCG, TA33/RMR-HD, IRIS-4 Wifes, lightweight build, adjustable gas block, zero recoil, super quiet, super light. RMR-HD. (I was gonna put a lighter light on there, but she likes the buttons on the surefire and refuses to use something different.)    Shooting Hornady 75G Interlock SBR out of both of them, awesome round for SBR suppressed. |

| Thanks y’all. Rifle is staying as it is. This was taken after the Kinetic Consulting night vision class, I was trying to run it hard to see where I could push it to. Ran 100% though, just kept it wet. So far, it’s chewed up whatever ammo I’ve thrown at it. I’ve been using the 200 gr. Magtech subsonic to good effect lately. I’ve put a few variations of AAC ammo through it too with no issues. |

It’s been a pleasure to beat on. Rifle keeps coming back for more. I don’t know if I specified in this thread, but I’ve got the new recoil system in it which may contribute to its performance. I was always a little skeptical of the small spring it initially used, however I never had any problems with that setup either. I’m just an advocate for using your gear though. These things don’t belong behind glass and only handled with white gloves on. |

Ran great even with cheaper ammo and idiots behind the trigger. |

| This thread is seven years old and as many can see that the AR platform just keeps evolving. Dozens of very good manufacturers from HK, Colt, BCM, LMT, Daniel Defense, KAC, etc. Others brands that were once snubbed as garbage have evolved into pretty good AR’s with quality components such as M&P Sport 3 or PSA Sabre series. I am lucky that I have been able to afford and keep all the above guns listed but not everyone has that budget. My last two AR uppers were BCM and PSA Premium 10.5” upper with FN CHF barrel that I run suppressed. No issues with it and it shoot great |

Swapped the 8T AMR and G33/45 for an NX8 (which has the most true 1x I’ve tried) on my general purpose for a better thermal experience. 8T now lives on the HD upper. Used to have an Elcan on here but the mount kept shifting even after installing the MK2 levers. I would go back to an Elcan if they had a new mount design. Form 1 still pending  Attached File |
