OK, I have a Colt M16A1 upper receiver with Rifle Feed Ramps. I want to install an 11.5" barrel that has M4 Feed Ramps onto this. It will eventually be an SBR when I buy a Colt Commando SBR Lower on a Form 4. I have a chart with pictures that says: Rifle Receiver with Rifle Feed Ramps and Barrel Extension with Rifle Feed Ramps is Good M4 Feed Ramps on Receiver and M4 Feed Ramps on Barrel Extension is Good Rifle Receiver with Rifle Feed Ramps and M4 Feed Ramps on the Barrel Extension is OK M4 Receiver with M4 Feed Ramps and Rifle Barrel Extension with Rifle Feed Ramps is No Good Is this accurate information? This will be an SBR with 11.5" barrel. I want it to feed reliably. Should I cut my own M4 Feed Ramps into my Colt M16A1 Upper Receiver. I have some nice diamond cutters and can do a good job if it is needed/ Recommended. Please let me know your thoughts / opinions. I only have upper parts no AR-15 lower parts at all, so NFA is not an issue. |
