Installed a Rare Breed FRT15L3 trigger in my DPMS G2 Recon .308 and it runs flawlessly. I guess it only works in the "Small Frame" AR10s like the DPMS G2 and I've heard the Ruger SFAR, but confirmed to work in my DPMS. I have an adjustable gas blocked tuned for the HUXWRX suppressor, runs great and surprisingly very controllable.

Well, PSA owns DPMS, but for some absolutely stupid reason, they have not brought back the G2. I think they are completely stupid for not doing so. That should have been the first thing they did as soon as they bought DPMS. Instead they made just regular AR15's with the DPMS name on them. |

I also test fit my RB 3 position in my G2 a couple months ago just to see if it would work, and it passed bench testing. However at the time I only had the G2 Bull model that I have set up as a DMR rifle, so I did not want to go burrrt with it. I have since bought a SASS and set it up as a pseudo battle rifle and will be putting one in it. I have the RB in a regular AR15 right now, but it is soon (as soon as it shows up in the mail) getting a ARC-fire and a G$ trigger, then the RB will go into the G2. |
