How do these hold up long term? I’ve seen the 5.56 Elanders referred to as junk, but decent claims about the 7.62 NATO ones. I was just a little surprised with the cheap flimsy feel of them when my order came in. The floor plate almost seems loose when they’re loaded. Any long term reviews of them? If they are bad, any suggestions on other metal SR25 mags that aren’t $100+ a piece |

I have had VERY good results with D&H 308 / 6.5CM metal mags. Watch for them to go on sale to save a few bucks per mag. https://www.primaryarms.com/ar-10/magazines/brand/d-and-h-industries I'd suggest you buy a few and try them out. |

Mako ripped a ton of us here on the forums off years ago with bad E-Lander mags. I won’t forgive either of them. It may have been facilitated by a 3rd party but they made the bad mags and they told us it was the seller’s responsibility to make right. Until a couple dozen mags show up on my door that actually work from them, I will remind people that happened every time they’re brought up. |

They look well made - but I've also had mixed results with the Grendel mags. For the Grendel specifically you can't beat the Geissele or any decent 10 rounder - the bent Elanders had more misfeeds for me than anything else. The 308 variants I got have *very stiff* springs. To the point they didn't feed in the AR-10's I tried them in that are 100% with PMAGS - 10, 20, and 25s - and Lancer 20s. I've actually had some sitting with 20 rounds loaded to see if they work with some heavy buffers we've adopted, but I'm letting them sit fully loaded a bit to see if the springs soften up. |

When I first built my 6.5G I bought some E-Landers and some CMMG's becuase everyone raved about the E-landers. What a mistake. They fail to strip the first round almost every time and fail to feed almost every other round. I tried messing with them as per some inoput form others but just can't get them to be reliable....junk. The CMMG's have worked flawlessly. |
