While I appreciate the small size of the Arisaka 18350 light body, the fit of the battery in it is so tight that to get the battery out, I've got to reverse-pogo the muzzle onto something to get maybe a half millimeter of the battery sticking out of the tube, then carefully pry it the rest of the way out with a knife. Hopefully this won't cause significant damage to anything long term... I've only used the Modlite batteries with it so far. I'm wondering if anyone has run into this, and/or if there is a brand of battery that is ever so slightly smaller diameter that would fit this body better? |
| I had this issue as well with that body. Believe it or not I switched to a Weltool body from amazon and that works just fine and was cheaper. Ive had a few other minor issues with arisaka stuff when paired with Malkoff parts. I like their stuff, mainly mounts, but I have settled on alternatives for the rest. |
