I have not had any problems with the Colt 20 & 32rd Mags. I filed a very small portion of follower (LRBHO tab may be too high) on my 32rd Duramags, and now they work 100%. I would suggest getting a couple of mag loaders like the MagLula - Colt SMG (preferred), Or the Promag Loader, it's capable of loading up to 5rds at a time. Been interested in the Cammenga Mag Loader. Looks like it's capable of many rounds at once. |
Absolutely agree with getting a mag loader (I have the Colt SMG LULA), the feedlips will fuck your thumbs up quick, and these things are fun and cheap to shoot so you'll be doing a lot of loading. I've entertained the idea of setting up a 6951 as a trainer similar to my 6920.  FWIW Colt, H&R, and Metalform mags are all made by Metalform. The Colt branded ones are most expensive, I have a couple surplus ones that I got from Apex a few months ago that are waiting for some TLC when I get back stateside later this year. |

I got the complete lower and upper and started as a pistol. I did change the buffer to a Macon arms 7.5 dead blow buffer. I love this thing. Attached File |
