I’ve always wanted Inforce to do good. I have always been disappointed. I only have one of their lights left, and it’s a pistol light on a range toy that I regret buying. I’ll be optimistically rooting for them, and waiting to see how these do. |

I’d kill for a metal body wmlx that runs off 1 cr123 personally |

Finally? Was there an issue? I've had a white/IR WML on a work rifle for 7ish years. In that time, it has endured thousands of rounds of full auto, thousands more on semi, 3 deployments, 3 deployment train up cycles, unit training about every quarter, literally being flown around the world, flown across the country several times... It always works. Probably the best $120 the government has ever spent. |

Inforce is such a frustrating company. About 10 years ago I emailed them in regards to their gen 1 wmlx. It was a promising light for the time but had some major shortfalls. I was like hey if you guys tighten the beam pattern just a bit and can get more power and run time by opening up the battery body for an 18650 (which they told me their heads would run) I think you could really dominate the market. If they added an IR laser a la the tlr2 I think they could have crushed the budget white/ir market and still would be. They were empathic with me that rifle lights didn't need more throw and that 18650 battery compatibility was pointless, and that nobody wanted a built in IR laser. Well they're on gen 3 of the same but slightly better light now and I don't see anyone using them, and their output is completely outclassed |

It always works. Probably the best $120 the government has ever spent. Lots. Personally: I had an APL that the mounting rails crumbled to nothing and it fell off the pistol. Either bad plastic or it wasn't resistant to oil. WMLx that just quit working while sitting in the safe. No idea why. Consistently dead batteries from parasitic drain far and away more than any other light I've had. |

It covers basically the same field of view. Not great throw, but on a helmet, a decent enough light for under 50 yards. Also easy controls. Maybe that's what they were going for. They also warranty things well. They repaired/replaced all 3 lights I've sent to them that broke on me so far, so I guess there's that. |
