Just so we're clear, while you're doing function tests with the upper off, the lever has to be forward in order to let the trigger release. The lever can't be sitting back. How about the Hammer Press function test? Selector in FRT position, press the hammer back/down, and swing the trip lever through its swing arc. You should encounter no binding. |

I assembled it wrong way the first time. ![]() I don’t have the MARC anymore but I think it needs to be assembled with the selector in SAFE and the lever all the way back towards the buffer tube before you tighten the TORX screw. I’m pretty sure that the selector would not switch to all 3 positions when it was assembled incorrectly, so that may not be your problem. |

I was able to confirm that I am retarded. ![]() I put it back in the H&R lower with the CARL and milspec trigger, it works fine. Did a live fire burst.. I went full autism on that A2 clone, it’s as correct as it can get without investing in a RR. This just makes it that much better. The torx screw isn’t correct and that slightly bothers me but it’s a good trade. |

You may be thinking of the Arizona Regulator? H&R uppers often have an auto sear pocket that's cut a little too small for that FRT. |

My Cornfire dropped in and functions perfectly with the original spring and a Geissele SSA, and the trigger pull is very similar to a standard SSA. However, once I installed the upgraded, stiffer spring, the trigger started breaking at the extreme end of its travel. This happened in both semi and full-semi modes, with two different MARCs, two different SSAs, and in two different lowers. It still technically works, but I think I'd rather have a good milspec trigger over the way it feels with the new spring. Maybe I missed it, but I don't think I've seen anyone else report this. |

My third position has a hard wall with no real discernible break before the... well, break. But it does break. I'm using a standard Schmid mil-spec trigger. @ELittlefield - Didn't you mention having a hard wall that prompted you to barely shave a bit off of the trigger? Wonder if the newer spring is a hair thicker and might require a hair more clearance on some trigger shoes. |

Yessir, I encountered that on my Block II M4 clone, but that was with the original November produced spring. It was a normal SSA pull in semi, and then in FRT mode it was like I was pulling against a very heavy wall after the first stage. It became at least an 8 pound pull. I fixed it by shaving the tiniest amount imaginable from the top of the tail. Barely more than enough to make it shiny. It’s not obvious to me why changing the spring would make that happen, but perhaps stuff just happens sometimes. I would give that a try. |

I think it's caused by a difference in spring coil location when compressed. When I first installed the original spring, there was a bit of crunchiness at the end of trigger travel that's no longer there after reinstallation. I'm guessing that the spring was slightly in between the trigger and safety, and reinstalling it changed its orientation so I don't feel it anymore. I'm going to see if there's a way to install the new spring so it doesn't interfere. |

I am sold on the MARC, have two more on order through one of your vendors. Thanks to some members here that helped me sort some minor stuff out, this thing runs like a raped ape on a 10.3. I love the compatability with the ALG ACT as those are what I run in my SBRs. |
