Hello people. First post here, long time lurker. I came accross a picture from a Venezuelan police officer that seems to have a Colt's Law Enforcement Carbine on him (that is what you can make out of the roll marks in the picture). As far as I know, said Colt carbine was produced exclusively as semi auto. Cue the picture below: receiver seems to have the third pin installed, and AUTO position on the safety selector. What do you think?

Looks like anodizing wear marks, not a happy switch. Looks like it has a Rogers Super stock. |

Ok, I can see what I thought looks like a third pin as a blem/peel in the anodizing, 100%. But it does look to have an AUTO roll mark. I understand this could have done in a decorative fashion too, but my knowledge of AR's is not very deep |

They were used [OEM] on Some LEO marked semi auto M-4's |

There is quite an apetite for trafficked civilian ARs in Venezuela and some of them end up captured and pushed into service by Venezuelan LE. |
