I acquired these form the shop who made them and is relocating their shop. They have made colt dies as well as numerous other companies, like Ford, tooling for decades. These were, I believe, used for a pantograph to machine the roll dies. While the does themselves are proprietary property of the customer, these plates were not. They are made from a magnesium alloy to allow them to be light and easily machined. Being about 3x the normal marking size, it is neat to see the full details! The US prop mark in is from Balimoy who made replacement A1 lowers. There also is a colt BFA marking as well. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I love the rollmarked Colt lowers. IMO the 2011-2014’ish Colt M4 Carbine lowers that are fully rollmarked and lack the QR code are the most desirable ever made. |
