My shop has on occasion a used Colt AR15A2 20-inch rifle on the used racks. The prices seem to always be somewhere around $1,700 bucks. A brand-new Colt AR15A4 is about $1,200! I know the older one seems to be made better! Tell me why the 30-year-old used rifle is worth more than a new A4 model! Your knowledge is greatly appreciated! |

The desirability and subsequent increase in value of a classic pre-CZ gun eclipses the current one. The new ones just aren't the same. I've been saying for years that the original Colt all roll marked guns (not laser marked) were going to become more valuable over time compared to the others. |
