| I have a fixed carry handle Colt 9mm carbine, I wouldn't swear to it, but I think it's a 6451. I love it's easy shooting and don't want to really change anything on it, but I was thinking of getting one of the Brownell repro Colt 4x scopes to give it a cool vintage vibe. Do I have any other choices that might be better overall while maintaining the old school look while not looking too clownish on the carry handle? |

Mini ACOG on a fixed carry if your wallet don't care. I am also happy with the fixed Colt 4x, but for 9mm the "red dot-ish" feel of the ACOG seems better than crosshairs. Attached File |

I have one of the Colt 4X retro scopes from Brownells, it isn’t a bad scope, I got it mount on a 20inch upper. Don’t ask me why but I like carry handles on ARs. I bought a Colt 6951 it came with one of those plastic rear sights but I switched it off and put a detachable carry handle on it. I have mostly been shooting it with Iron sights. I have been playing with the idea of putting on a red dot like I have on my 10.5 inch AR pistol. It’s a Vortex Strikefire 2. Attached File |
