With a lot of cans having some zero shift from removing and installing suppressors what do you guys do when you want to clean the barrel? My Flow 5.56K has a slight zero shift so part of me wants to leave it in and just run the cleaning rod through it but then I'm afraid it'll get carbon locked if I never remove it. I don't shoot regularly so I like to clean my guns after each session. |

My recommended item is breakthrough suppressor cleaner. I use it to clean everything from the barrel, bolt and inside the carrier. The stuff is literally the most amazing thing I ever used. I know you heard that dozens of times but I thought wipeout bore cleaner was amazing but this stuff blows it out the water. It takes about 3-4 hours to clean a suppressor and about 1-2 hours to clean out the bore and bcg but if you can wait you’ll see this stuff is amazing. You’ll still need to pick and brush a little but nothing like originally. |

I take the can off. Zero shift should be repeatable. If you're doing something (ex: DMR match) where you really need a super precise zero, I would just verify right before with the same batch of ammo you'll be using for the activity, as should be standard procedure anyway. |

It's believed by many that Breakthrough Suppressor Cleaner is made up of: 90–95% water 2–5% ethanolamine 3–5% 2-butoxyethanol 0.5% to 2% EDTA …it means that in every 100 mL or 100 g of the final product, you'd have: ~2–5 mL/g of ethanolamine ~3–5 mL/g of 2-butoxyethanol and so on... This is not saying "2–5% strength ethanolamine solution was added" — it means pure ethanolamine comprises 2–5% of the entire solution. |
