Picked up a new 6960 Wednesday. Waiting for some lower profile irons to come in to clear my MRO magnifier, and I'll very likely replace this light. But I really, really like how light this is. And this rail is very nice. Also, PSA: I didn’t like the CA rail that came on the CCU (it was the CR model with no QD holes and fewer lightening holes) so I ordered the higher tier rail from CA. I used a rail alignment tool when I first installed it. My barrel ended up being off-center in the rail. I reached out to CA and Mrs. LeClair responded saying not to use the alignment tool. So tore it all back down, reinstalled from the barrel nut up and the rail is now perfectly centered. Very happy with the customer service from CA. |
