From Sweden, Carl Gustav (NAMMO) plant, the 5.56mm AP3 and AP4 tungsten core armor piercing
AP3 also known as M995 in U.S. Nomenclature, at 52gr AP4 was never issued or sold from factory. Weighs 62gr, Core has a dual bevel tip and a notched (lock base) heel fitted into jacket of projectile. (Heard it was tested/ offered during the search for M995, but lost out due to higher cost) wolfganggross

| Interesting how one is loaded with stick and the other is ball powder. I'd always defer to the lighter / faster projectile for AP capabilities since velocity is the main driving factor behind steel penetration. |
