Hello, Back story: I am currently building my MP5 clone using a deadfootarms DFA AR-MP9 Upper and of course milling out my own 80% lower that accepts Glock mags. I am also installing the SCW25-STOCK/BRACE- GEN 2 which will use their modified 9mm BCG which is also from DeadFootArms. My question. Has anyone done this with an FRT before? I currently have a Delta Team Tactical FRT, and because I am using the 2.5” buffer tube mod I am slightly worried of it firing OOB. I am willing to be a guinea pig but also want feedback to see how stupid I am. From google/Youtube I cant seem to find anyone who has done this. |
 Failed To Load Title When you’re talking MP5 clones, I think most people would think of something like this, an AP5 with Lee Sporting lower and SS. I’m not sure if your setup would work, you should try it! |
| That's quite the project and good luck, but I'm trying to understand how it would be an MP5 clone if it's AR lower-based and uses Glock mags. I would think an MP5 clone would be something like MAC-5 or MKE or PTR or a Zenith with only the HK being the original those clones are based off of. For the price of the DFA upper you could buy a complete MP5 clone too, although it would take MP5 mags. Not trying to start an argument, just trying to understand. |
