| I just purchased an AB suppressor for 10.5" 300 BO, I am looking for a new buffer. I will be shooting 125gr supersonic, 220gr subsonic, and regular range ammo 130-150gr. This is my first suppressor, so I am still learning |

I use an H3 all the time. Cycles in all four configurations with zero adjustments. Barrel is an 8.3" Seekins. Suppressor is a Surefire Genesis. Supers and Subs are both hand loaded. Supers more or less mimic Barnes TAC-TX 110g. Subs are 217gr poly coated with 10ish grains of VV N120. Good for about 950 FPS. I can get it to cycle all the way down to about 810 FPS with that powder. Love me some N120. I've also duplexed it with N110 for even quieter operation but we aren't allowed to talk about that here.

Same here. 8" BA and 8.2" Rosco standard carbine spring and buffer. I personally hate adjustable gas blocks. I don't like the concept of "chasing a tune"...I have gone shooting with too many guys who spend more time "tuning" their guns than actually shooting their guns.... Every. Single. Range. Trip. If I have to tune my gun every rage trip to get it to run, it is not a gun I trust and not a gun I want to keep. |
