I got a GMR super safety to work 100%. RTBA / CMMG .22 kit with 16” RTBA barrel Taylor Tactical reduced power (blue) hammer spring Bore Buddy weight using aluminum rods I did replace the GMR lever with a 10% larger “printed” lever to eliminate the slop between the cam and the original lever to correct timing issues. Runs great with CCI SV and Mini Mags. |

With the Rare Breed I used the factory 5lb recoil spring, steel weight housing with all 4 steel weights. Just go slow with small increments when adjusting the trip. It ran best with the old red box Federal (hotter) ammo. I tried my upper on another lower with an early Partisan in it(the one with the lighter hammer spring). It didn’t work at all. I think if I replaced the hammer spring with the newer, stiffer one it would work better. One thing I have learned: Try lots of different ammo. One gun may run well with Remington Golden Bullet. The other may run well with Winchester Super X. |

My No Tune uppers came today. I sprayed dry lube on it, and put it on an ARC FRT lower. I fired 4 rounds single, then switched to 3rd and emptied the mag. I was using CCI Mini Mag. I had a CMMG suppressor on it and was ringing steel from about 10 yards. I didn't bother to put an optic on. I just wanted to see it it would work. I walked back to the house with a smile on my face. |

Worked just like yours did, I should have just went with the recommended frt triggers in the first place. With that said congrats, and to others doing 22 builds, use a arc fire/atrius style FRT. Bore buddy recommends it for a reason. Tell me about the CMMG can, I am thinking about getting one. |

The CMMG can was one of my early can purchases last year. I got it because it was about $175 and I know the CMMG name. I think it is the predecessor to the Zeroed, but the pictures look like mine, inside and out. I have only shot it on a rifle with high velocity rounds. It's like my KGM R556 suppressors, it's not the quietest, but it works well and didn't break the bank. I get the sonic crack, but not the boom at the barrel. I will be picking up a threaded Ruger 22/45 upper next week and I'm hoping it will be quieter. |

I will be picking up a threaded Ruger 22/45 upper next week and I'm hoping it will be quieter. .22lr is velocity rated in a 16” barrel, so you will have to use subsonic ammo for it to be quieter in a rifle. .22lr ammo doesn’t reach supersonic speeds in a shorter pistol barrel so you can use standard velocity rounds and it will still be much quieter in the pistol(provided yours isn’t a long barrel pistol). |
