Your best bet are either Glock OEM mags or MBX Steel mags. MBX are excellent, but so expensive they might as well be forged from the bones of a dead God. They have a very forgiving feed angle so they should run well in a gun which has feeding issues. Glock mags just work. The feed angle is less ideal for some guns and you'll have to make sure you sand down the lower interior of the tube if you run longer extensions so the follower doesn't hang up. But theres a narrow belt sander on Amazon for like $25 that works awesome for this and it's also super handy for other tasks around the house. ETS are straight garbage all the way around, but they have a forgiving feed angle. Magpul have a great feed angle but the polymer sucks and gets soft enough that rounds will pop out of the feedlips and cause jams when you're running really fast reloads on a hot day. They really need a steel liner. |

| I just got some of the 20 round steel Mec-Gar Glock magazines and tried them in various PCCs. They drop free from a Sub 2000 and a New Frontier lower, but they fit a little snug in a CMMG Banshee Glock 9mm lower. They aren't hard to insert or remove, they just won't drop free. It's probably just a matter of the thickness of the cerakote in the mag well. I have to get to the range with them to see how they feed. |

I run the cheapest KCI mags I can get....if you are gonna go glock mag, right now the best option is an Aero EPC stripped receiver set....a Macon Armory builders kit and mag catch...it'll run 100% While I have probably 30 different make glock lowers in my library, My personal guns are all Colt mag....

I own every size of Pmag and factory glock. 15, 17, 24, 27, 31. I have a healthy number of 31s in my stash. Sometimes i want to get up a rhythm doing something like a Mozambique drill a bunch of times without interrupting it with a reload. Other times I may want to maneuver without a foot tall magazine banging against things. Those are the only brands i buy. I've had them for a few years, shot them a bunch, keep them stored loaded and haven't needed to replace any yet |
