| I have a relatively short beard. All of the collapsible stocks I have fired pull my beard hairs out. Are their any beard friendly stocks out there? |
| Shadow Systems just released their complete AR rifles. They claim their stock is their own design AND designed to be beard friendly. I have no idea if they intend to sell parts seperately or not. I just saw one of their intro type videos on Youtube the other day about the rifle and they talked about this. |

Seems they all do it to some extent, some better than others. One particular offending MagPul stock got black gaffer tape. Until I replaced it... The "ranger band" inner tube is a good idea. |

Question for the people that put tape/velcro/innertube/whatever on their adjustable stocks: Is the stock still adjustable after doing this? As in, can you still adjust the stock without removal and reapplication of this stuff? Not trying to pick a fight, just always found it odd that a lot of people recommend adjustable stocks, and then make them non adjustable, from the viewpoint of someone that's gone fixed stock (magpul fixed carbine and arfx) for all the things. |

The ONLY solution I've found is to bring my face forward and THEN up off the stock. Any buffer tube style stock of the ten or so I've tried will eat my beard otherwise. Having said that the B5 sopmod is more forgiving than, say, the angry beard eating demon that is a CAR15 stock. |
