As long as it’s in spec, a lower is a lower. I’ve got an AR-10 and AR pistol from them, no issues on mine.

Bear Creek Arms has had quality issues.

You could get better for a few dollars more.

When I didn't know any better, I purchased a Bear Creek assembled upper. It functions, and is about 2 to 3 (MOA) Mil Spec accurate.

I wouldn't feel bad about spending $30 for a guinea pig lower. Most shop's transfer fees are higher than that.

You can always re-sell it. Buy one and let us know.

i have one of their rifles , i picked it up for 250 bucks .
it's a good lower , i run a FRT in it just fine .

I have exactly 1.

I bought it as a matching upper and lower built. Shoots fine. Barrel is accurate. With a better trigger it is really fun to shoot.

But that lower and that upper seem a little off spec. They match each other but other brand uppers do not go on it well.

It seems the 2 take down holes are a little farther apart than they should be.

Keeping it but it is now a "matched set".

Bear Creek seems to be aiming to compete w/ PSA. Not as big or good yet, but that's seemingly their model.

I've sold several BCA lowers since Anderson sold. No complaints so far. Ugly rollmark though.
