Anyone running these or have hands on experience with it them? For years I was running the MCMR rail. It’s a solid rail, but once I picked up a DD RIS III rail I remembered I prefer a girthier rail. Since then I’ve got a couple Geissele mk8 rails on some other builds and I like them. Since I’ve never run or seen a Raider rail in the wild I’m thinking about picking one up and giving it a go… For those that have run them how do you like em? Worth the move from the MCMR rail? Would you compare them favorably (not necessarily better) to the Geissele mk4 and mk8 rails? Thanks in advance… |

I had one in the past. They feel comparable to Geissele MK4 rails and URX 3.1 rails. It might just be me but their whole thermal fit system is good and bad. It's a solid setup if you can get the damn thing on, but if you ever want to take it off, good luck. People say just use a heat gun or torch so maybe I got one that had a bit tighter tolerance but that thing was a bitch to install! |
| I currently have the 10 inch Raider rail on my 12.5 in. 6 ARC upper, and it's a solid rail. I wouldn't mind picking up a 13 inch rail as well. I have/ had several Geissele rails over the years and they work really well, but BCM also puts out some solid products. |
