| A couple weeks ago, I got a screaming deal on an Armalite ar10a2 rifle. I was thinking of running it once in a while with my can. I dont want to change out the fsb because it looks perfect as it is but im concerned about too much back pressure. I was told that I could probably solve this problem with just a heavier buffer. I see there are lots of buffers out there but being new to the 762 rifles, I dont know what I should be looking for. Are all 762 buffers the same or is this rifle unique and takes something different? I know i need a rifle length but whst are the weights I need? Are the bigger ones H2, H3 and so on, like the smaller counterparts? |
| If you're the tinkering type, you can make your own buffer heavier with some tungsten weights that KAK Industries sell. |

If your Armalite uses a rifle length buffer tube... you will need a 5.2"ish 308 rifle buffer. ( NOTE not a standard AR15 buffer length, due to the longer stroke length of the 308 BCG ) KAK makes a heavy weight one, @ 9.3oz. https://kakindustry.com/lr-308-heavy-rifle-buffer |
