I bought this rifle last year and I want to “bring it up to date” so to speak. What I’ve done so far: RR 2 stage ultra match trigger Geissele super 42 rifle length spring Kynshot hydraulic buffer RR NM sight front post and carry handle What I have ordered: White Oak SDM barrel White Oak bolt White Oak service rifle float tube What I need advice on: FSB/gas block I wanted to go with the JP FSB but it looks like they do not sell the proper “f” height version. Any input? I would eventually like to shoot this at distance with irons. I’m hoping to keep all the Armalite furniture.  |

Thought I would update this thread. I did not end up keeping the green furniture. Just wasn’t the route I ended up choosing. | I took it to the range Saturday and it wasn’t very productive. The rifle would fire, not eject/pick up next round. Had to almost mortar it to get the brass out. I followed instructions with the gas block on adjusting, no luck. Brought it home and swapped the Armalite buffer and spring in, no luck. Brass is not chewed up. So tonight I tore it apart and cleaned the shit out of it, paying extra attention to the chamber and bolt. I’m hoping there was something on it that was causing it to stick. I’ll report back when I try it again. |

If your eyes are old like mine, you need a hooded NM rear sight and a MISO insert. It makes all the difference in the world. I’m 44 and had LASIK a few years ago so as long as there is sufficient light I’m ok now lol. Unfortunately I never got into reloading. Any factory loads that did as well for you? |

Can you post a few photos of the fired brass ? I'd bet the WOA chamber and bolt results in a pretty tight chamber. And what ammo were you firing ? |
