| I recently built an AR-15 after my previous one was stolen. :( I didn't think ahead, but ended up getting Troy BUIS, the Micro version. My previous build had the full size and sat in the lower 1/3rd of the EOTech 557. Did I screw myself if I want to get the 557 again? I have the BUIS installed at the moment, waiting on money to get the EOTech. |

But it doesn't matter anymore. Somewhere between shooting and cleaning, somehow the hood on the front sight took a spill. It cracked, so when trying to straighten it out, it broke off the rest of the way. Oh well... I'll get the full size. 
ETA: They felt great when shooting today, got them to zero with no issues. I like the micros very much, but I still think they might not work through the EOTech. |
| If you can get down in your cheekweld to get a sight picture with them, Id bet they would work. I mean Im taking a wild guess here, but with the standard Eotech mount you might have the lower third cowitness. I mean youre lowering the sights instead of putting the Eotech on a riser mount. |
