Other than Olympic Arms, are there any folding stock AR-15's that can be fired repeatedly with the stock folded? Tony |

| Dead Foot Arms side folder with their modified BCG assembly can be fired while folded. Works great, albeit it's a tad pricey. Mine runs like a bat outta hell. |
One well at a time, Drill Baby Drill!
If you need more than 8 rounds in a 1911 to solve your problem, you need friends with rifles.
I don't need your PERMISSION in order to voice my OPINION

| You didn't specify caliber so I guess I will throw in that Bear Creek has a side charging 9mm upper where the recoil spring is contained within the bolt assembly. It fires just fine folded up but you would have to be pretty screwed if you didn't have 2 sec to swing out and lock the brace/stock. |
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Tony The ARIC cannot by default, you’d need some sort of slip trip and I’m not aware of any. |

Tony The Aric needs a slip trip for an FRT, the closest to work I think would be an As designs MCX type set up, but I haven't messed with it. I did try a Franklin binary trigger with the Aric, I think there is a lot of bolt bounce, I got a dead trigger on a live round several times playing with it. |

Tony Supposedly Evolution Weapon Systems was working on an FRT solution but I haven't been able to find out. Their BCG has a dead blow weight on it so it may work okay. |

I don’t think any DI gun would. You’ll be putting yourself at a significant risk of danger even if it claims it could. Problem is the gas is still going into the bcg itself and escaping through the port exhaust and behind the fire pin. Basically you got a huge amount of pressure building up behind the bolt tail and the gas isn’t escaping. I don’t know the structural integrity of the BCG is but I would imagine eventually it would explode especially as the carbon builds up inside that area restricting gas from escaping the one exhaust port behind the bolt tail . I would think the weak point would be the two screws trying to contain all the gas pressure that isn’t venting. When the bolt extends the three exhaust ports are venting the excess gas and the carrier key is leaving the gas tube so no more gas is entering the system. I would imagine the design allows for a bit of extra gas to go back to help with a dirty gun unlocking. I would think for this system to work for a DI it would need an adjustable gas block to turn the gas flow off. Then the question of cycling would be the main problem. |

The BRN-180 just seems out of reach in my budget nowadays. I do...bought one a couple of weeks ago. I really wasn't expecting much out if it, bought it more out of curiosity and also to compare to other bufferless guns I own/have owned. I got the 12.5" version...I've only put @ 200 rounds through it but I really like. it. Pros: - Lighter than a piston gun, while being lighter than a traditional DI gun due to no buffer/tube. - Fairly accurate...I was getting @1.25MOA on paper at 100yds. with XTAC M193. Cons: - The factory charging handle sucks...it's angled and can be oriented up or down (and left or right). But having it angled up causes a "cheese-grater" effect on your finger against the Pic rail, while angling it down puts it too close to the handguard for easy purchase. I've ordered an AppleSauce Engineering extended replacement. - Gassy when suppressed. I used a YHM T3 and instead of getting a cloud of gas from the receiver/gas port, it felt more like a jet of gas into my face. FM supposedly offers a stronger recoil spring for suppressed use and I may try that. I also have/had a few other bufferless AR-based systems...BRN-180 (5.56/300blk), Spear LT (5.56/300blk), and JAKL. The FM isn't as smooth as the BRN or MCX, but I'd put it above the JAKL as far as operation and build quality. I really like the BRN, but I don't like 10.5" for 5.56...I wish they made an 11.5" or 12.5" version. The 11.5" 5.56 MCX was just too heavy to me for what it was. I've since pared it down to just having a 300BLK version of each (10" BRN, 9" Spear). I'm hoping this thing proves to be reliable/durable over the long term. Attached File |

Tony Supposedly AS designs was going to release a slip/trip kit for the brn180 https://activesafetydesigns.com/brn/brn-180-slip-trip-kit/ If you're an FFL/SOT, take a look at the AR-18 design and use your imagination

Tony If nobody said BRN-180, add that to the list of AR-ish true side folders. I doubt it will run well with an FRT. I don't think they have any sort of deadblow feature. Mine had severe bolt bounce issues which resulted in failure to fire. I thought I had it sorted out, then it kaboomed, probably from an OOB detonation. PWS fixed it and it's run 100 afterward. |

This EWS bufferless BCG was used in the BR55. https://evolutionweaponsystems.com/limited-in-stock-dlc-black-buffer-less-bcg-w-1913-rail-adapter/ ![]()
