I was reading about cartel drones at the border and one commenter remarked there are 556 pellet rounds available... I took this to mean loaded with shot like 38 snake loads... a couple quick searches turned up zip... anyone know of such a think - where to get- who makes? thanks |

There are several governments experimenting with similar versions of them, with most being some form of sabot containing 3-6 BBs. Thanks for the links I currently have no use for them, just curious... although I could probably make up a few to play with if I could come up with a recipe... first thought is a skeet load with lots of pellets would be most effective. say #7-8 shot, fast powder like Unique or greendot? Kapoke filler? Wax plug? lots of what-ifs. |
| Think .22 snake shot ….the .223 / 5.56 is the WRONG platform for shot shells too much powder + bottle neck case (squib load) + limited effective range of shot shells. It’s just the wrong platform unless you build a .410 upper even then a dedicated 12 ga semi auto is more efficient. |
