| I recently got one in a trade, the SU-16C to be specific. I haven't shot it yet but over all I like it for something different than the ar-15. I plan on replacing the bi-pod hand guard with a Zhukov Magpul stock I have ordered and added a few items on it already like a 3 prong ASR flash hider and inexpensive red dot. People that have them seem to have nothing but good things to say about them. Anyone else have one? |

I've had one for a long time, but I don't shoot it too much these days. It is reliable, but don't expect MOA precision. Breakdown is always a re-learning proposition. It's main benefit is its low weight and collapsibility. I have mine in a bug out bag for that reason. |

Owned one for a couple of decades I think since they came out. Reliable yes, accurate no. Biggest problem is your scope or rear sight is mounted on the polymer receiver and the barrel is held into that receiver with a metal trunion. I always saw zero shifts, iron sights or red dot scopes due to the polymer receiver and its variable relationship to the barrel/trunion. I would zero the thing and see a shift of up to 1 moa at the next range session. Not a big deal depending on your application but it drove me crazy. My brotherinlaw has it now as part of his bug out gear. He gave up on the red dots and just uses the iron peep sight. Inside 100 yards I think it is useful. |
| I bought a pistol off a buddy with the intention of SBRing it and never did. Part of the reason was that I found out they don't recommend suppressor use. Maybe when there's no tax for stamps I'll actually make progress on my list. |

Many people have mounted the Zhukov as it looks better and has a better/more solid feel. The top piece/piston cover is not so easy to mount like on an ak and usually it is left off.
