| Pondering picking up a 11.5" version.. maybe. I have a couple HK A4's already but keep thinking about these. Any reason to or not to? Has the accuracy been improved on them? |

BTW there is a sign forum in the armory section. I just received a 11.5 upper a few days, I put it on a spare sbr'd lower. I shot it this weekend, I put a holosun aro gold I laying around and put my form 1 can on it. I had no issues hitting to 200 and even got hits on a 3 moa plate at 300. I have a Samson sas stock on it, they are pricey but I like the stock Alot. If your gonna change the muzzle device, I boiled mine for about 20 mins and used an impact with a 19 mm socket and the second pull for the trigger and it zipped right off. Attached File |

Had a legacy and a virtus. Regret selling the legacy, it’s the best model they made. Spear LT really isn’t objectively better than the Virtus, aside from being a little lighter, but most of that is in the handguard. Everything else can be applied to a virtus. Take a legacy, upgrade the barrel and BCG to gen 3, slap on one of the Lancer carbon fiber handguards, and call it good. Top rail is long enough to mount your laser and/or front sight, and the CF handguard is as light as you can get. |
| Yes, I have the newer gen 3 in 11.5 pistol. I really like it. It's accurate for me but I don't know what sort you're looking for. I have nearly 1.2k rounds of it so far. I bought it after getting a SIG SPEAR 308 as a Christmas gift last year and I decided I also wanted the SPEAR LT that I bought myself. |

Has the accuracy been improved on them? Did you metaphorically 'pull the trigger' on this one?  I have a 16" 5.56 Spear LT and the gen.1 Rattler in 300bo. Love em both, but getting under the top rail to clean the piston area is a pita. Thankfully I dont have to do it as often with the 556, as I do the 300. The latter has an OCL polo 30 and it gets dirty af, even more so now that I got an Omega gas valve for it. If you do get one, a few QoL upgrades: Mototech recoil bumper Omega gas valve and JPe piston rings PoF cam pin A QD sling mount for the front rail (if you like that method of retention) Arisaka Rail Clamp (if you plan on running a LAM/Nods) |
