Supposedly prevents hammer follow.

I got my 22 upper working today so I don't see why its needed now.

To me it seems like it just keeps the TK from moving up and down and forces it to only move forward and back.

Not sure why that prevents hammer follow.

I don't really get it. The kicker already prevents hammer follow by holding the tail down, which keeps the hammer engaged on the sear.
