| I decided I want a folding 300 blk for a bag gun. I looked through my bins of shit and found a stripped Anderson lower, a SOLGW blaster kit, a Larue MBT, and a BCM extension. I’m sitting here contemplating ordering a law folder, radian Talon safety (my preference), and building out the Anderson lower and then slapping a BCM 300 upper on it. I dont sell guns so I’m not worried about resale - but my mind is glitching thinking about adding $450-500 in guts & folder to a $39 lower. I know it’s just a hunk of metal that holds parts…..but I’m wondering if missing a reason that I should order a better lower? |

It's just a hunk of metal that holds parts. I have BCM, DD, CMMG, and Colt uppers on them. The only issue I have ever had with an Anderson is Magpul mags not dropping free. I prefer aluminum mags, so that doesn't affect me. Now I buy the least expensive one PSA sells. |

| I have two Anderson builds, the last one was with all BCM parts. Works like the rest of my AR's. My only regret is not buying more when they were on sale at my LGS for $34. I have one spare left. I may build a pistol/sbr with it someday. |

Build it and don't worry. I assembled an Anderson lower today. Following a poverty theme, I used some BCM blemished parts. None of the BCM blems even have a noticeable fault, with the exception of the endplate, on which the BCM logo is fainter than normal. The build is: Anderson Stripped Lower CMMG AR-15 Gunbuilders LPK Hoffman Super Safety with a cut mil spec trigger & other FCG parts from stock BCM blemish black Buffer tube Sprinco buffer spring - Blue +15% H3 buffer BCM Blemish QD endplate BCM Castle nut Magpul MIAD FDE Gen 1.1 Grip Kit Type 1 BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 0 Trigger Guard B5 SOPMOD black stock - This lower was assembled 1st as a pistol with an SBA5 brace, then as a rifle. This is the only Anderson lower that I have. This is the only Super Safety that I have. I don't plan on building any more. I got one because I didn't have any. That being said, I was shocked at how good the trigger is when dry firing. I never expected it. The take up moves fairly smoothly to a distinct wall and then breaks crisply. It far surpasses any of my Partisan Disrupter triggers. |
