So, I recently added the CMMG Dissent .300BO pistol (6.5”) to my “arsenal”. It’s going to be suppressed as a home defense and/or travel PDW when out of town. Question. I want a slightly longer barrel and upper for more than just subs and I want to keep it in the “pistol barrel” lengths, so looking at the longer 10.5” barrel, should I consider skipping 300BO and getting the upper in 5.56 instead? I figure it would be cheaper for training and drills. I would likely still run it suppressed but just thinking that may make the Dissent a little more versatile. Thoughts? Yes, the price of the upper is pretty damn expensive. ROCK6 |
