I usually don't eff around with slings cuz I'm not rucking around anymore, but I have an itch to grab a few QD slings for a few rifles. Question I have is, how good are the AWS slings? I always see the typical "Vickers Blue Force" or "Ferro" slings being mentioned, but whenever I see a post for AWS slings on r/gundeals people are going crazy for them. Are they really a decent sling? for the price they seem hard to beat if they're well built. I saw they came out with the "AWS Sling 2" with a single quick pull/tighten strap finally. tempted to grap a few if they're any deceent |

Probably a dead thread but I'd just like to mention here that you can get their 52199 Padded sling for a whopping $19.98 right now without attachments. Their swivels can be added at a discounted rate and aren't bad, though you can do even better if you selectively shop for swivels at Amazon and the like. Gonna be tough to beat that value in any sling, especially given the generally good reviews on this board for them. They have held this price for a couple months now. |
